We are looking for someone with a passion for young children knowing the Lord, and some experience of teaching the Bible with a focus on Jesus, to lead the growing children’s ministry in the church. The role is suitable for someone who loves the Lord Jesus and is passionate about teaching children about Him from the whole Bible. This role will also equip the post-holder for further gospel ministry in the future through formal training, either the Cornhill Training Course in London or TEAM in Cambridge. The main duties of the role would be as follows: • Be a committed member of the church family by, among other things, attending and participating in Sunday services, and a midweek home group • Be an active member of the staff team by, among other things, attending and participating in the weekly staff prayer and planning meetings • Regular teaching of the children’s classes (ages 0 to 4, and 5 to 10) at church on a Sunday • Leading upfront children’s Bible talks • Involvement in or leading a holiday Bible club • Regular involvement in planning and delivering the Bible clubs and assisting the Pastor with R.E lessons at Wilden and Sharnbrook schools This post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. St Mary’s Longfleet (SML) is a growing charismatic evangelical church seeking a new vicar to join us as we step into our next season of life and mission. Our ESOL service was established in 2017 and now runs 5 days per week and offers English lessons for resettled refugees and an English Club with an emphasis on learning skills for integration into UK society. We are a growing team of ESOL tutors and creche teams providing training to help refugees and their families to resettle in Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire. The Church and Community Relationship Coordinator is a role focussed on inspiring, resourcing and activating individuals and churches to understand the biblical mandate to care for children and families. The Dohnavur Fellowship was founded by Amy Carmichael she was a missionary who with a small band of Indian Christian women, moved from place to place, preaching and teaching, and many turned to the Lord. Then in 1901, God sent to her a seven-year-old girl who had escaped from a Hindu temple. She told Amy of the practice, which is now illegal, of dedicating little girls to the gods and training them to be temple prostitutes. God told Amy to save such children, as well as others who had no one to care for them or were being abused. She was to make a home for them (and boys also from 1918-1984) and to bring them up to know and serve the Lord Jesus Christ and be His witnesses. The need to provide for children who are unwanted or abused remains, but the government now aims to have those under the age of five adopted, so only those aged five and over are permitted to come to Dohnavur.

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic full time Youth Worker to help us develop youth ministry in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. This is a shared role with Wiltshire Youth For Christ and St Thomas' Church, Trowbridge. Focusing on developing the youth ministry of St Thomas’ Church and developing Wiltshire Youth for Christ's community and school-based ministry in the Trowbridge area. You will engage with young people, allowing them to encounter the Good News in ways relevant to their lives and become grounded in their faith as disciples of Jesus.
