Gloddaeth (“Glod”) Holidays is an exciting Christian ministry sharing the good news of Jesus with thousands of young people each year through our residential camps and schools ministry. We run a programme of Easter and summer camps for young people aged 10–18, from schools across the North and Midlands with currently 250-300 attending each year. Alongside this, we work with schools throughout the year, supporting Christian meetings, assemblies and chapels. The Operations Director, in collaboration with the trustees and the camp group leaders, supports all the practical aspects of the holiday ministries and plays a key role in the development of the strategic vision of the Trust. The role is to provide professional support to the trustees and camp groups, and to leverage those areas that can be addressed as a Trust, rather than as individual camp groups. This involves supporting good governance and the operation of the camp groups.

Our Prayerline call takers are all volunteers who have a passion for prayer and an intimate relationship with Jesus that desires them to see breakthrough in people’s lives. This role, as part of our staff team, will ensure that our volunteers as well as our callers have a safe and positive experience of telephone prayer ministry. In order to fulfil this role, you must be computer literate, able to monitor the call management system, analysing dropped calls and call waiting times but also ensuring that volunteers are able to log into and out of the system successfully. You will also need excellent people skills as you will be the primary point of contact should a volunteer have a difficult call and need prayer and support themselves, with escalation to the team leads when necessary. You will also be required to pray for callers should you notice that waiting times are becoming too long. Bydd yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus: · Yn gallu meddwl yn strategol a bydd ganddo/ganddi ddealltwriaeth gadarn o effeithiau gweinidogaethu. · Yn wybodus iawn am weinidogaethu gyda phlant a phobl ifanc, a bydd yn eiriolwr brwd, yn ymarferydd rhagorol ac yn gyfathrebydd effeithiol. · Yn dylanwadu ar rwydweithiau, yn llywio barn, yn herio difaterwch ac yn ysbrydoli creadigrwydd. · Yn hunan-ddisgybledig, yn gallu trefnu a blaenoriaethu’r llwyth gwaith a rheoli sawl prosiect ar yr un pryd. · Yn gallu gweld nodau hirdymor a gweithio tuag atynt. · Yn agored i wahanol draddodiadau, arddulliau a ffyrdd o fynegi ysbrydolrwydd, gweddi ac addoliad ac yn gyfforddus gyda nhw, ac yn dod i adnabod ac i ddeall y Beibl yn well. · Wedi cysegru ei hun i Dduw ac yn ddisgybl i Grist. · Yn gallu cyfathrebu’n effeithiol a byddai’n fuddiol pe gallai siarad Cymraeg.
