Could you be our new Chief Executive? Aspire is a Christian community-based charity on the Isle of Wight. In the 12 years since we began, we have grown from small beginnings to now running a number of community hubs and projects across the Island. We manage contracts on behalf of the local authority and have recently developed our first housing scheme supporting women exiting homelessness. We employ approximately 50 people across our services and have won both the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service and the IESE national gold award for innovation in health and social care. We are a well respected and well supported charity supporting many of the most vulnerable people on the Isle of Wight. Our current Chief Executive is moving on after seven years in the role and we are now looking for a new Chief Executive to carry on and develop this vital work. You will be a committed Christian, able to demonstrate an active and vibrant faith. Experienced at leading and inspiring others, you will model a leadership driven by a passion to serve and compassion for those you are serving. Experience in areas such as Communications, Networking, Governance, Finance and HR would be beneficial but we are not expecting all of these skills in one person. Most important will be an obvious calling and equipping for this work, demonstrated through experience and commitment. The Norwich Circuit is seeking a highly organised and reliable Circuit Operations Officer to support the administrative, governance, and operational life of our churches. This is a key role at the heart of the Circuit, helping to ensure that our mission, ministry, and property responsibilities are carried out smoothly and professionally. Working closely with the Superintendent Minister, Circuit Stewards, Ministers and volunteers, you will provide reliable administrative coordination, maintain essential records, support governance processes, and help ensure effective communication across the Circuit. Bowthorpe Road Methodist Church (Norwich Circuit) is looking for a YOUTH WORKER Are you passionate about young people’s ministry? Bowthorpe Road Methodist Church is a local church in the Norwich circuit with both Chinese and English-speaking congregations. We worship every Sunday with two simultaneous services, along with a range of activities throughout the week for people of all ages and interests. We are growing as a church and have reached the point where we would like to invest in our young people through a dedicated youth worker. Founded in 2004, Boaz Trust currently has a portfolio of 15 properties across Greater Manchester, providing safe shared homes for people seeking sanctuary. Keeping those homes in good condition matters deeply to us, and this is a new role created to make sure we're looking after our buildings consistently and proactively, so the people living in them feel properly at home. People living in Boaz houses have faced homelessness following a decision on their asylum claim. They've often experienced persecution, trauma, hostility and racism, and a well-maintained, welcoming home is not a small thing in that context. The work you'll be doing directly contributes to people feeling safe and settled. This is a practical, varied role spread across two days a week. You'll be out and about between our properties carrying out minor repairs, replacing fixtures and fittings, painting and decorating, keeping outdoor spaces tidy and making sure communal areas are clean and presentable. You'll do regular property checks, flag anything that needs specialist contractors, and liaise with them when works are underway. It's mostly independent working, with support from our Property Manager, Phil Barker. A driving licence and your own vehicle will be essential. We're looking for someone who takes real pride in doing a job well and brings a respectful, friendly approach to the people they meet along the way.
